Named for the stand of large willow trees and the artesian well that grace the property. Built in 1910 as the Forbes Hotel, it has also been the site of the local telephone company, and in 1988 a location for the movie Land of Little Rain staring Helen Hunt. Was operated as Willow Spring Bed and Breakfast from 1997-2012.

Ideally located near the Crestone/Baca Grande mountain community and the central valley, this historic brick building emanates old world charm. Approximately 3600 sf, this 2-story home has been fully restored. A large 300 sf covered front porch frames stunning mountain & valley views. The threshold opens to a large living room and stately fir post staircase & to the side, a roomy parlor & under-stairs powder room. Downstairs is also the ample dining room. Upstairs are 9 guest rooms & 3 bathrooms. Each room has a sink & mirror and either a double bed, king size bed or 2 twin beds. At each end of the hall are bathrooms & showers. The rooms have wall paper borders & tasteful linens, quilts and comforters. Also upstairs is a large utility room with ample storage.

Additional structures include a decorative well house, the original large wood outhouse now used for storage & a new metal 22x24 building with propane forced air heating and electricity, a deck, large windows, a side entrance and 10' garage door. One half is fully finished & serves as an art studio, meditation/retreat area, meeting place or office. The other half has been a wood and metalworking shop and art studio.
